Orin had already attempted a few long cats before this one, that only used one sheet of paper.
The aim of this cat was to make it much longer using a roll of old fax paper, and to keep swapping the colour of the pens. He had to colour in carefully with the picture laid out on the floor so as not to tear the paper.
The work is not connected to an artist or gallery, nor created in response to a brief.
Orin found it quite challenging having a large area to colour in.

Orin’s cat inspired a whole collection of cats at New Walk Museum and Art Gallery and Soft Touch Arts, Leicester inspired by a workshop led by Orin and his sister Mia.
